AbstractThe attitude toward spouse’s emotion expression is one of the possible factors affecting intimacy. This study intended to compare the attitudes toward spouse’s emotion express among women with high and low level of intimacy. A qualitative approach with a descriptive phenomenological method was used in this study. The study population includes married women in Tehran 2021. Considering saturation principle and using a purposive sampling method, a sample of 20 individuals was selected. Data collection was done through semi-structured interviews and their analysis was done with the seven-step method of Colaizzi’s phenomenological analysis. Data analysis led to seven main themes in each group. The main themes extracted from the group of high emotional intimacy were: “comprehensive and positive perspective”, “flexibility”, “belief in the role of self-agency”, “necessity of facilitating conversations”, “necessity of determining common and private boundaries”, “necessity of regulating expressiveness” and “attitude dependent on emotion and its motivating factor”; The main themes extracted from the low emotional intimacy group included “negative and limited perspective”, “inflexibility”, “low self-confidence”, “role of rationality in managing emotion”, “non-expression of emotion as its absence”, “gender-related expectations” and “labels and expectations forming attitude”. Based on the results it seems that the differences in the attitudes of these two groups are often based on the degree of flexibility and realism towards spouse’s emotion expression and also considering one's own role in this regard.

The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effectiveness of monotheistic integrative education on psychological well-being, self-esteem and happiness of women after experiencing divorce. The design of the research was semi-experimental and pre-test, post-test and two-month follow-up with a control group. The statistical population of this research included all divorced women in Sabzevar city in the winter of 2022, of which 30 people were selected as the sample of the study using the available sampling method. The data collection tool was Riff's psychological well-being questionnaire, Cooper Smith's self-esteem and Oxford, Hills and Argyle's happiness. Analysis of variance with repeated measurements was used to analyze the data. The findings indicated that monotheistic integrative education has an effect on divorced women's psychological well-being, self-esteem and happiness (p>0.05); It should be mentioned, the durability of the treatment effect was maintained after two months (p>0.05). Based on the findings of the research, it can be concluded that monotheistic integrative education has improved the psychological well-being, self-esteem and happiness of divorced women in the experimental group compared to the control group.

This study aimed to investigate the mediating role of cognitive emotion regulation in the relationship between attachment styles and attitudes towards marriage. This was an applied and correlational study based on structural equation modeling. The population of this study included all single young of Isfahan uinversity; a total of 310 participants were selected using available sampling method. Data were gathered using attachment style questionnaire (Besharat, 2014), cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire (Garnevsky et al. 2001), and attitude toward marriage questionnaire (Bratin and Rosen, 1998), and were analyzed using structural equation modeling via AMOS-26 software. The results showed that secure attachment style has a positive relationship with realistic attitude towards marriage and avoidant and ambivalent attachment styles have a negative and significant relationship with realistic attitude towards marriage. A significant positive relationship was observed between the compromise strategy in emotion regulation and realistic attitude towards marriage. Also, the uncompromising strategy had a significant negative relationship with the realistic attitude towards marriage and a significant positive relationship with the pessimistic attitude towards marriage (p<.01). Also, the findings showed that cognitive emotion regulation plays a mediating role in the relationship between attachment styles and attitudes towards marriage. In general, it can be said that people who have a secure attachment style can regulate their emotions properly and ultimately have a positive attitude towards marriage, which can be considered in premarital counseling.

The purpose of this research was the effectiveness of mindfulness-based training on sleep problems and emotional regulation of employees with chronic fatigue syndrome. The quasi-experimental research design was pretest-posttest and follow-up with the control group. The statistical population of this research included all employees of Urmia University in 2022. The sample size includes 30 subject (15 subject in the experimental group and 15 subject in the control group) from the statistical population were selected by available sampling method and they were placed in two control and experimental groups. For the experimental group, psychological resilience intervention was implemented, while the control group did not receive training. The research tools included the DePaul Symptom Questionnaire (Jason et al, 2010), the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Inventory (Boyce et al, 1989) and the Cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire (Garnefski, Kraaij, 2006). The data was analyzed using the analysis of variance test with repeated measurements. The results showed that the mindfulness-based training had a significant effect on improving sleep problems and emotional regulation in the post-test and follow-up stages (P<0.001). The findings of this research provide useful information about mindfulness-based training, and counselors and psychologists can use this intervention to improve sleep problems and emotional regulation of employees with chronic fatigue syndrome.

Interpersonal distance is one of the important variables in social interactions that has attracted the attention of researchers. The current study was aimed to predict interpersonal distance regulation based on childhood trauma experiences considering the mediating role of attachment styles. In this research, correlational design based on structural equation modeling, Sobel test and independent t test was adopted to investigate the suggested relationships between the variables. The statistical population included students of Allameh Tabataba'i University of Tehran, 267 university students were selected through convenience sampling. All participants completed childhood trauma questionnaire (Bernstein et al, 2003), adult attachment style questionnaire (Hazan and Shaver,1987) and comfortable interpersonal distance (CID) task adapted from Abdevali & Zabihzadeh`s study (2021).while the results confirmed the suggested model, which consisted of predicting interpersonal distance based on childhood trauma experiences considering the mediating role of attachment styles, indicated the direct effect of childhood trauma on larger interpersonal distance regulation, secure and insecure avoidant attachment styles and also the direct effect of secure attachment styles on smaller interpersonal distance regulation, and the direct effect of insecure avoidant attachment styles on larger interpersonal distance regulation. It seems that childhood trauma can determine the attachment styles, and the attachment styles through the internal working model can affect the interpersonal distance regulation in adult social relationships with different people.
