چکیده

پژوهش حاضر با هدف شناسایی رابطه بین هوش هیجانی و هوش شناختی معلمان و پیشرفت تحصیلی دانش آموزان انجام شد، جامعه آماری شامل کلیه معلمان (زن و مرد) پایه پنجم ابتدایی شهرستان علی آباد کتول در سال تحصیلی 88-1387 بودند که 75 نفر از آنها به صورت تصادفی ساده به عنوان نمونه در نظر گرفته شدند، ابزار مورد پژوهش شامل آزمون هوش هیجانی بار-ان برای ارزیابی هوش هیجانی، آزمون هوشی و کسلر برای اندازه گیری هوش شناختی و متوسط نمرات نیمسال دوم به منظور بررسی پیشرفت تحصیلی دانش آموزانی که معلم های آنها در دو آزمون هوش (وکسلر و بار- ان) شرکت کرده بودند. نتایج نشان داد بین هوش هیجانی معلمان و پیشرفت تحصیلی دانش آموزان همبستگی مثبت و معناداری وجود دارد اما بین هوش شناختی و پیشرفت تحصیلی دانش آموزان رابطه معناداری وجود ندارد، در تبیین این نتایج میتوان به اهمیت هوش هیجانی در محیط کار و تفاوت گروه نمونه حاضر با پژوهش قبل اشاره کرد

چکیده [English]

The present study aims at identifying the relation between emotional and cognitive intelligence of teachers and students’ educational progress. The statistical population consists of teachers (whether male or female) of the 5th grade in Ali Abad Katool City in the academic year of 2008-2009, out of whom 75 people were randomly chosen as sample. The tools used in this research are the Bar-On model of emotional intelligence, Wechsler Intelligence scale, and the average score of the second semester used in order to examine the educational progress of students whose teachers attended both the above said intelligence tests. The results show there is a positive and meaningful correlation between teachers’ emotional intelligence and students’ educational progress; however, no significant relation was found between the cognitive intelligence and students’ educational development. It can be concluded that emotional intelligence is quite significant in the working environment
