In this study, the effectiveness of two training programs based on Shafiabadi's multilevel career model and Thomas and Velthouse's cognitive model on the amount of psychological empowerment were compared. The research method was quasi-experimental design (pre- test and post-test type with control group). The research population included all male and female counselors who worked in the two poles of education in Rasht city. 60 people who obtained the lowest grade in research inventory and were ready to participate in training program, selected as the sample randomly proportionally and placed in three groups containing 20 subjects in each group (two experimental groups and one control group). Psychological empowerment inventory was used for data collection which validated by researcher. Using factor analysis, it was found that the questionnaire is a saturation factor. Single-variable covariance and Bonferroni test was used to analyze the data. The results indicated that the effect of training programs based on two model was significant (P<0/001) but there was not any significant difference between the effectiveness of two training programs on psychological empowerment.

The main purpose of this research was to compare the effectiveness of Adrelrian's method counseling and cognitive reconstruction based on allegory in enhancing 18-24-year old students' resiliency. The statistical population consisted of all the male students of Tehran teacher training center in which 45 students were chosen as sample group and randomly divided into two experiment groups and also a control group. Then, Adlerian group counseling during 11 sessions and cognitive reconstruction group based on allegory during 12 sessions took part in group counseling meetings once a week, each session 2 hours. Cunner and Daividson resiliency scale CD-RIS were used to gather data and were applied as pre-test, post-test and conclusion. In order to analyze the data, Covariance analyzes and follow-up test were used. The findings confirmed that intervention Adlerian group counseling has made a meaningful promotion of resiliency but the cognitive based on reconstruction in allegory effectiveness didn’t get any meaningful effect. Furthermore, a comparison between the interventions of the two counseling groups in terms of increasing resiliency was not meaningless. Results of 2 group’s scores after 2 months showed that the intervention effect is endurable so we can recognize the intervention in Adlerian way has deeper effectiveness in people interpretation and it is because of the emphasis on recognition and personality dynamics.

The study sample included 209 female students of economic college of Allameh Tabataba'i university witch selected with cluster sampling model. Data were collected by means of ways of coping questionnaire (WOCQ), Islamic Religiosity Scale (IRS), revised NEO five factor inventory (NEO FFI-R) and General Health Questionnaire (GHQ) and then analyzed with statistical ways of correlation and regression. Regression analysis indicated that neuroticism, religious disorganization, religiosity and emotional-focus coping able to predict the significant percentage of variance of general health of students. Between religiosity and personality dimensions, only extraversion is significantly able to predict the rate of both emotion focus and problem-focus coping styles usage in students. Statistical analyses showed that consciousness is also able to predict the rate of and problem-focus coping styles usage in students. Regarding to these results, we can conclude that instructions to students to find meaning of their life and to strengthen religious beliefs can have great effect on their effective coping with stress and promotion of their 6 mental health.
