Objectives: AIDS is a debilitating chronic infectious disease. Identification of personality characters and hope of HIV- positive patients impacts the improvement of health services. The aim of this research was to evaluate the correlation between the personality characters and hope in HIV- positive patients. Method: Some 42 HIV-positive patients with available sampling method were selected. Hope questionnaire and NEO-PI-R scale were used for evaluation of personality characters and hope. Data analysis was done via Pearson and multivariate regression analysis. Results: Data analysis showed independent negative correlation between neuroticism and hope and positive dependent correlation between extroversion and hope. Conclusion: Only neuroticism can independently predict hope in HIV-positive patients. Neurotic persons are depressive, anxious, irrational, stressful, with guilt feeling. So HIV positive patients with high neuroticism score probably have low hope.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is examining the effectiveness of cognitive hypnotherapy on elderly trust to God and calmness feeling.
Materials & Methods: In a pilot study conducted in the Mashhad Elderly Day Rehabilitation Clinic some 18 patients were selected using purposive sampling and assigned into two groups as experimental and control groups. They were asked to answer P.P.S. questionnaire before and after the intervention .In the intervention period, the experimental group received cognitive hypnotherapy for 6 sessions with the control group having no special treatment. The data were obtained from covariance statistical test and were analyzed using SPSS 19 software.
Results: Statistical analysis of two groups at post-test, demonstrated significant differences in variables of trust to God and calmness feeling in two groups in level of (P <0.05). In other words, elderly tended to be significantly positive and thus the psychological component emerged.
Conclusion: The cognitive hypnotherapy is useful on elderly trust to God and calmness feeling.

Introduction: Low levels of emotional regulation, resulting from the inability to effectively cope with and manage their emotions, may play a role in the onset of drug use. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the effectiveness of teaching emotion regulation based on Gross model on reduction of anger among drug-dependent people. Method: This research is part of a pilot pretest- posttest project carried out on a control group. All the addicts who referred to addiction clinics in the city of Marivan from 2012 to 2013 were examined. Among them, a total of 30 drug-dependent individuals were selected by simple random sampling with the same method which was used in the test and control groups. Results were analyzed using analysis of covariance. Results: Overall, the results showed that education of emotion regulation based on Gross model can reduce the signs of anger in substance dependent individuals (p<0/001). Conclusion: Problems concerning emotion regulation is one of the difficulties in front of drug-dependent people and learning how to express their emotions and manage individuals can be effective in reducing these problems.

This research intended to investigate the relationship between differentiation of self and styles of love and to compare styles of love and differentiation of self among married men and women in the city of Mashhad. Some 120 married persons who were selected as samples were tested. To compare differentiation of self: DSL Questionnaire was used and to compare styles of love, Stenberg’s triangular love scale was employed. Data were gathered through SPSS and meaningful test of correlation coefficient and were analyzed using comparison test of two independent average. Analysis of data showed that reverse significant correlation was found between sub-sales of passion, commitment and sub-sales of emotional reactivity, position, emotional cutoff and fusion with others were reported. In addition, the results revealed that there was a meaningful difference between reactive distancing of men and women including more reactive distancing among men. Analysis of data showed that there was not any significant difference among the rest of sub-scales.

The data was gathered through questionnaires of sexual satisfaction, Halbert sexual assertiveness, marital quality, anxiety of sexual relationship, Burns & Sayers relationship satisfaction and sex frequency scale. For data analysis, path analysis and Pearson's correlation coefficient was used. Results: Based on the results was obtained a meaningful Model. Frequency of sexual intercourse, sexual interactions and expression of needs performed as mediators which were able to predict sexual satisfaction. Despite other variables had a relationship with sexual satisfaction but were unable to prediction. Conclusions: Based on present study having the sexual verbal interactions and expression of sexual needs and desires to spouse, increase sexual satisfaction directly and indirectly. The aim of this research was to investigate the correlation between father-child relationship and adolescents' social competence. The population consisted of high school female and male students of the Sanandaj city in the 2011-2012 academic year. Some 240 students (120 girls and 120 boys) from this population were selected randomly by multi-stage cluster sampling method. The study was descriptive and used correlational methods. The research instruments included: Social Competence questionnaire and Parent-Child Relationship Scale (PCRS). Data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation coefficient and regression analysis.
Conclusion: The results showed that there was a significant relationship between father-child relationship and social competence. Regression analysis showed that relationship with father has the most effective results on communication skills and the least effect on motivation aspects. The range of father-child relationship and social competence and its aspects has much higher impact on girls group than the boys group. Thus father-child relationship is one of the most effective factors on increasing the social competence in adolescents.
