Abstract

The present study aimed to explain the psychological and spiritual components of family resilience in the conditions of war between Iran and Israel. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach and using the grounded theory method.The study population was Tehran families living at the time of the war, who were interviewed using purposeful and theoretical sampling with 19 families. The data analysis method used was Strauss and Corbin's systematic method, The results of this study showed that the creator-centered ontology with the axes of (the creature's continuous influence from the creator; giving meaning to the philosophy of life; the crystallization of moral values) is a causal condition of family resilience; existential and conscious resistance with the axes of (existential responsibility; social participation and Jihadi action; redefining family rules in war conditions; rereading collective identity) family resilience strategy; historical insight of resistance with the axes of (extensive information resources; mythologizing martyrs and successful models; transferring wisdom) a factor in creating family resilience; managing media discourse with the axes of (agency in arranging news and controlling the limits and quality of news) a mediating factor in creating and maintaining family resilience; family balance and cohesion based on the context of collective resistance with the axes of (cooperation and alignment of parents; rebalancing in the family system; education focused on maintaining the health and growth of children; positive impact on social interactions; collective peace and promotion of social cohesion and national unity with religious patriotism) was the consequence of implementing the strategies.
