Abstract

In this research, the qualitative analysis of family drawing in aggressive and non-aggressive children and their comparison with the attachment style of their parents has been done. The statistical population of this research includes preschool boys living in the city of Mashhad in the age range of 5 to 7 years. The research shows that the average attachment style of mothers of aggressive children in all three safe, avoidant and ambivalent styles is not significantly different from the attachment style of mothers of non-aggressive children. Also, the frequency of force drawing index is significantly higher in aggressive and non-aggressive children; And other drawing indicators in the painting, including the area where the painting is drawn, the extent of the painting and the direction of the painting, there is no significant difference; The findings also showed that there is a difference between aggressive and non-aggressive children in the content indicators of the painting, including valuing, devaluing, added persons, closeness of the child to the mother or father, the distance of one person from the others, conscious assimilation, unconscious assimilation, the similarity of these two assimilations. And there is no significant difference in the objectivity of the painting; The results showed that aggression in disabled children depends on many factors, including the child's personality and temperament and other variables related to the parent-child relationship. Also, the content indicators of children's drawings alone do not indicate the level of children's aggression, but rather indicate the child's relationship with parents and other family members.
