Physical, psychological and environmental disorders that people experience in old age facilitate the elderly's tendency to cyberspace and social networks. The purpose of this study is to analyze the mental health in cyberspace elderly users. The method of the present study is qualitative based on the Phenomenology. The population of the study included all men and women over 65 years from Tehran. Sampling method was purposive & chain sampling in which 6 elderly women and men were selected in order to participate in the study and interviewed as well as analyzed. All interviews were recorded and finally analyzed using Strauss and Corbin's systematic analysis method (1990). They took refuge in cyberspace to escape from these afflictions. Twelve semi-structured interviews were conducted. The analysis of the interviewees' statements resulted in identifying 19 open codes and five central codes (loneliness perception, elderly absurdity, unrealistic attitudes, wandering in life, and excitement immersion). These findings indicate the prevalence of a range of psychological disorders in the elderly, which revealed the need to pay attention to this dimension as well as the design of educational and treatment programs to reduce these disorders. The statements of the interviewees also indicated the fact that cyberspace and drowning in it were not the cause of these discomforts, but the group took refuge in cyberspace to escape from these discomforts.

Abstract the purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of emotion regulation strategies train-ing on improving mental health, self-compassion and craving in the addicts of khorram abad. The research method is a pretest_ posttest_ follow up with control group. Sample included 32 men were an addict who was a member of the addicts treated with buprenorphine maintenance of khorram abad.. They were selected by available sampling method and randomly assigned to control and ex-perimental groups. The experimental group received gross model-based emotion regulation strate-gies for ten sessions, while the control group did not receive any intervention until the end of the project. To collect deta, mental health questionnaire (GHQ), self-compassion (SCS) scale and crav-ing questionnaire were used and for analysis, multivariate analysis of variance was used. The re-sults showed that training of emotion regulation strategies training increased their mental health and self-compassion and decreased craving in the experimental group. Eventually emotion regulation strategies training is a useful applied practice in treating and preventing addiction recurrence.

The experimental group received painting therapy for eight 60-minutes sessions, two sessions in a week lasting for one month. Analysis of the data was done using descriptive (average & standard deviation) and inferential (multiple covariance analysis) tests. Based on the result we can say that painting therapy is an important method in improving meaning in life and mental gealth of students with low academic achievement.

This study is concerned with the moderating role of life satisfaction in the relationship between resiliency and general health in a sample of students. 75 students from among those studying at the Islamic Azad University of Shahr-e-Ray (65 girls and 10 boys) were involved in this study and asked to complete Ego Resiliency Scale (ERS), Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), and the General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28). The research results indicate that there is a significant negative correlation between resiliency and satisfaction with life and the general health problems. Results of the analysis carried out on the chief and moderating effects based on the structural equations suggest that satisfaction with life could moderate the relationship between resiliency and general health problems of the students. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the relation between satisfaction with life and resiliency and genera health is not merely a simple one and the interaction between different variables could differently influence general health.

The goal of this study is to compare the effect of training the skills of coping with stress and coping strategies on mental health of female students. In this experimental research with pretest-posttest design, the statistical population consists of female students of Hamadan Islamic Azad University. 300 students are selected by random sampling. Then, after administrating the mental health questionnaire, 60 persons with highest scores are selected and randomly assigned into three groups, each consisting of 20 students (two experimental groups and one control group). The assessment tool is the mental health questionnaire S.C.L (90)-R and the data are analyzed by multivariate analysis of covariance. The findings indicate that training the skills of coping with stress and coping strategies could significantly improve the mental health of students. The comparison between the effects of training the skills of coping with stress and coping strategies reveals that coping strategies have more effect than training the skills of coping with stress on mental health of female students

The main purpose of this research was to predict the mental health of school students based on life skills. For this purpose, 800 students in the city of Semnan were selected by stratified random sampling method. Then, Life Skills and Mental Health (including 28 items) questionnaires were administered on them. The results indicated that there is a significant negative relationship between the awareness of life skills and mental health. Also the results of stepwise regression analysis showed that in the first step the variable of emotions control entered into the regression equation and explained 26 percent of mental health variance. Thereupon, coping with stress, self-awareness, decision and empathy skills, respectively proved a significant role in the prediction of mental health. Generally, these variables predicted 37 percent of mental health changes. Results indicate the important role of life skills in preventing disorders and offer practical implications for the authorities in charge and policy makers in education
