The purpose of this study was to Explaining the causal model of Marital Intimacy based on Attachment Styles, Self-Compassion and Mindfulness in Romantic Relationships of couples in Holeilan city. The research method was descriptive structural equation modeling and the statistical population of the study included all married people of Holeilan city in 2022, among them, 350 people were selected as a sample by multi-stage cluster random sampling. Research tools include the Personal Assessment of Intimacy in Relationships by Schaefer, & Olson (1981), the Adult Attachment Inventory by Simpson (1990), the Self-Compassion Scale by Neff (2003) and the Relationship Mindfulness Measure by Kimmes et al (2018). The structural equation modeling method was used to analyze the data. In this study, the indirect paths of secure attachment to the marital intimacy with the mediation of self-compassion and mindfulness in romantic relationships; and Insecure attachment to the marital intimacy with the mediation of mindfulness in romantic relationships were significant. This model was able to explain 0.37 of the variance of marital intimacy. The results showed that according to the research findings, marital intimacy and attachment styles are related both directly and indirectly and self-compassion and mindfulness in romantic relationships were able to play a mediating role between marital intimacy and attachment styles.

Marital intimacy is considered as a prominent ability to build long-term and satisfying relationships. One of the psychological factors affecting marital intimacy is self-differentiation. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of self-differentiation components (Emotional reactivity, Emotional cutoff, I-position and Fusion with others) in predicting marital intimacy in Couples. Using the convenience sampling method, a total of 100 individuals were selected as the sample size. For data collection, the Walker and Thompson (1983) Marital Intimacy and Skowron and Schmitt (2003) Self-Differentiation Questionnaires were used. Data was analyzed using Spearman correlation and univariate regression analysis. The results showed that among the subscales of self-differentiation, only the emotional cutoff subscale has an inverse and significant relationship with marital intimacy (r = -0.363 P <0.01) and is able to explain 15/2% of the variance of marital intimacy.According to the results, emotional cutoff plays an important role in marital intimacy.

Emotion regulation as well as the hormone oxytocin are among the factors affecting couple interaction. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of emotion-focused couple therapy on emotion regulation and plasma levels of blood oxytocin hormones. The research method was quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest design with a control group. The study population consisted of couples in Tehran in 1397 who were randomly selected by calling 15 couples in cyberspace and randomly assigned to two groups of control (7 couples) and experimental (8 couples). In addition the emotion difficulty questionnaire (Gertz and Roemer, 2004) and the marital conflict questionnaire (Barati and Sanaei, 2000), ELISA laboratory analysis was used to measure plasma oxytocin levels to collect data. The experimental group underwent emotion-focused couple therapy for 12 sessions, while the control group did not receive any intervention. In addition to descriptive statistics, analysis of covariance and Benferoni pair comparison were used to analyze the data. The results showed that emotion-focused couple therapy improves couples' emotion regulation scores in the components of non-acceptance of emotional response, limited access to emotional regulation strategies and lack of emotional clarity (P<0/05), but on components difficult to perform purposeful behavior, difficulty in controlling impulse and lack Emotional awareness is not significantly effective (P>0/05). The results also showed that emotion-focused couple therapy has a significant effect on reducing the plasma oxytocin level of couples (P<0/05). The results showed that emotion-focused couple therapy can be used to improve emotion regulation and change in the secretion of oxytocin.

Method: The present study is contractual qualitative content analysis. The research content was selected through electronic search in selected databases and a four-member working group of experts. The review of contents, selecting semantic units, extracting compact codes, subcategories, classes, and finally reaching the main themes and naming them are common steps in this method. In order to improve the scientific accuracy of the study, various methods were used, such as using the experiences of a panel of 15 experts. Findings: The coding process showed that the effective components in enriching marital life based on Islamic teachings can be presented in four main parts, including 1-Enrichment of infrastructures, 2-Enrichment of tools and forces, 3-Enrichment of templates, and 4-Enrichment of functions. The agreement between the panel members for the four main sections mentioned showed that the relative content validity coefficient(CVR) and content validity index(CVI) is equal to 0.81 and 0.92, respectively and all of the sections have a minimum acceptable value. Conclusion: The main parts of the present study can be considered by marriage and family planners in different levels of prevention, education and treatment.

Ru-dar-baysti is one of the cultural Iranian etiquette; a feeling of shyness and embarrassment related to saving face that occurs when individuals have respect for other party. The current study intended to identify the ru-dar-baysti-based phenomenal experiences of women with low intimacy in marital relationships. To conduct this research, a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method was employed. Participants included 14 women with low marital intimacy who were selected through purposive sampling method and snowball strategy with using Intimacy Scale (IS) developed by Walker and Thompson. Data collection was done through semi-structured interviews. The interviews were recorded and transcribed verbatim. Data were analyzed using Colaizzi's phenomenological analysis method. Analysis of rudarbaysti-based phenomenal experiences of women with low intimacy in marital relationships led to extraction of 11 main themes: Participants' perceptions of the concept, Areas of occurrence, Reasons for rudarbaysti from the perspective of subject, How of rudarbaysti occurrence, Cognitive, Emotional, Relational, Physical-psychological consequences of rudarbaystis, Positive consequences, Effective factors on quitting, and Consequences of quitting rudarbaysti. The findings of the present study showed that rudarbaysti occurs for different reasons and dimensions of the women's intimate relationships with their husbands and in various forms and the occurrence of this phenomenon and quitting it causes a range of positive and negative consequences. It is suggested that according to the results of this study, a plan be developed to acknowledge and assess the type of couples' interactions and to formulate appropriate interventions in the process of couple therapy in a cultural context.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of emotional empathy and Successful Intelligence on marital satisfaction with Considering the moderating role of age. The study population consisted of all couples living in the city of Qom in May 1397. 165 people were selected by the Convenience method as a sample group and responded to Inrich's Marital Satisfaction Inventory (1989), the affective empathy scale of Mehrabian and Epstein (1972), and the Grigorenko and Sternberg intelligence scale (2002). The results showed that successful intelligence has a positive and significant relationship with marital satisfaction.Among the dimensions of successful intelligence, only practical intelligence has a positive and significant relationship with marital satisfaction.Regression analysis also showed that successful intelligence has the ability to predict marital satisfaction. But emotional empathy did not show a significant relationship with marital satisfaction. Also, examining the mediating role of age, the findings showed that age does not moderate the relationship between successful intelligence and marital satisfaction. According to the findings of the research, it is suggested that in order to increase the marital satisfaction of couples, in education, emphasis should be placed on the beliefs of the components of successful intelligence that increase the satisfaction of the marital life.
