The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of ISTDP and EFT therapies on marital adjustment of married women with experience of complex childhood trauma. The study population consisted of married women with a history of complex childhood trauma and distressing marital relationships in Shahrekord in 1400. sampling was done by call and voluntarily. After reviewing the inclusion criteria, finally, six people were selected and randomly assigned to ISTDP and EFT treatments. After implementation, the approaches were compared. Research data were analyzed by a single case method. The results of visual analysis between the intervention and baseline positions including PND, mean and mean changes, relative and absolute level changes, showed the effectiveness of both treatments on marital adjustment. Mean and average changes for ISTDP and EFT therapies indicated the effectiveness of both approaches on increasing marital adjustment in the middle and end of treatment sessions. Relative level changes for both treatments also indicated an increase in marital adjustment in the early stages of treatment. Results for absolute changes for ISTDP and EFT therapies indicated that both treatments were able to lead to immediate changes in marital adjustment scores. The percentage of overlapping for both treatments indicated the high effectiveness of these two treatments for marital adjustment. Considering the values obtained from the average changes, mean, level changes, and percentage index of overlapping data, the results show that EFT treatment was more effective than ISTDP treatment in increasing marital adjustment.

The quasi-experimental research design was pretest-posttest and follow-up with the control group. The statistical population of this study included all mothers of students aged 7 to 11 years with ADHD (dominant hyperactivity) in the academic year 1401-1400 in Tehran. The sample size consisted of 30 people who were selected by available sampling method and placed in two experimental and control groups. A positive parenting program was implemented for the experiment group, while the control group did not receive any training. In the experimental stage, the effectiveness of this consulting method was evaluated. The research plan of this stage is "applied" in terms of purpose and "quasi-experimental" based on the method of implementation and "pre-test, post-test, follow-up with evidence". For this purpose, 22 individuals (11 couples) who applied for premarital counseling who had referred to a counseling center in Tehran were examined. To evaluate the effectiveness of this counseling method, in the qualitative dimension, the structured interview method was used, and in the quantitative dimension, the statistical method of analysis of variance and independent t-test were used.

Research instruments included Spainers’ marital adjustment questionnaire, completed before and after intervention by both groups. The validity of the questionnaire was verified by the counseling group Professors and the reliability of the questionnaire was measured using Cronbach's alpha. The “Time for better marriage (TIME)” package was administered to the intervention group in 10 sessions 90-minute. Multivariate analysis of covariance was used to analyze the data. All data were analyzed using SPSS statistical software version 22. Findings: marital enrichment training program based on Time for better marriage (TIME) was effective on increasing marital adjustment (P <0.05). also it’s increased the marital satisfaction dimensions (p<0.05), marital correlation (p <0.05), marital satisfaction (p<0.05) and marital affection (p<0.05). The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of couples' educational level differences on marital adjustment and marital function.. The sample includes 120 couples in Isfahan in 2017 that passed at least 5 years of their marriage. These individuals were selected from couples who live in six regions of Isfahan by a clustering method, and the sample was divided into three groups as follows: 1 - Male educational level is higher than that of female (40), 2 - Female educational level is higher than that of male (40), and 3 - Female and male have the same level of education (40). To collect data, the Revised Martial Adjustment Questionnaire (RDAS), Measurement of Marital Function Questionnaire and Short Neo-Form Questionnaire (60 items) were used. Data were collected to compare marital function and martial adjustment of couples with different compositions of educational levels by SPSS statistical software. The results of covariance (ANCOVA) and multivariate analysis of variance (MANCOVA) showed that the level of martial adjustment and some of the components of marital function in couples, differs with different compositions educational levels. Based on the findings of this study, martial adjustment is more ideal for couples in which male educational level is higher than that of women. There is also no difference in the martial function of couples with different levels of education, but in terms of emotional expression, communication, economics and financial affairs, couples with an equal educational level are in a more ideal situation.
