Aim: The Assimilation of Problematic Experiences Scale (APES) for coding of client's responses and process focused conversation analysis(PFCA) for coding of therapist's responses were combined to each other to write the equation of change within psychotherapy.Method:the research method was case study and the psychotherapy orientation was integrative. Recorded sequential conversations between therapist and client (120 dialogues) were transcribed and coded by APES and PFCA within four therapeutic sessions with one good outcome case that suffered from somatization. Results: results revealed that there is directive relationship between APES level improvement and therapeutic sessions in client. Different kinds of questions, skills and techniques were identified and entered in change equation. Combination of two different coding models, PFCA and APES, supplies suitable situations for assignment of triangles series within sequential conversations between therapist and client. The questions and skills are at the base and the center of the pyramid of therapeutic change respectively and the techniques are above them and the client answers are at the top of the pyramid. Conclusion: Using the two coding methods mentioned, the client's quality of responses can be shown in an objective format. In this way, in this way, the quality of client's responses in assimilation levels is identified and the effect of therapist's responses in progression or setbacks in process change are simply observable.

Personality is one of the important topics and fundamental concepts in psychology science, so that by recognizing and reviewing it can be scientifically explained by human behavior. The character can be considered a plethora of thoughts, mood, social behaviour and physical characteristics of the person who determine the alters of a person's reaction against others. Although the word of shakeleh in Islamic culture is the equivalent of character words, but the comparative study of its concept with the concept of personality is a number of topics that have been done less about that research. Therefore, the present paper with a qualitative approach and using analytical-analytic methods, has been proposed this concept from the perspective of the approaches of psychology and Quranic literature and has tried to achieve a comprehensive view in this regard. The results of the implementation of psychologists with Quranic teachings show that the human being of the same character is a semantic meaning that is made in the life of the human being and through its actions and behaviors.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effectiveness of Adler's theory of self-efficacy, life satisfaction and emotional adjustment in conflicting couples in Tehran. The research method was experimental and pre-test and post-test design with control group was used. The statistical population of this study is the conflicting couples of Tehran city. According to the population of conflicting couples in Tehran, their total number was 20,000. Using Cochran formula to select the sample size, 384 individuals were selected as the sample, and among them, the couples who scored lower in the questionnaires, 50 were selected as the main sample, divided into two groups of 25 people. The data were collected by self-efficacy questionnaire Sherer et al. (1982), Life satisfaction questionnaire Diner, Immunes, Larsen and Griffin (1985) and Goranfsky et al. (2001). To analyze the data, one-variable covariance analysis analysis was used. The results showed that Shanker's method based on Adler's theory of self-efficacy, life satisfaction and emotional regulation of conflicting couples in Tehran was significantly more effective than the control group (P <0.001). Therefore, considering the educational effectiveness of the encouragement method, these interventions can be used in family counseling and psychotherapy settings. Keywords: Teaching method of encouragement, self-efficacy, life satisfaction, emotional regulation and conflicting couples

The aim of this study was to develop a conceptual model of Psychopathological Self-Maximizing syndrome in Islamic sources and to evaluate its validity. According to the purpose, the qualitative and quantitative mixed method has been used. In the qualitative part, first using the method of semantic domains (Trier, 2019) with 35 related words, 481 religious propositions were collected using purposive sampling based on the principle of saturation and using the method of qualitative content analysis by the method of inductive content analysis. (2004) were analyzed by three steps of open, axial and selective coding. Then, in the quantitative part, the validity of the findings was evaluated using the method of evaluating the opinions of experts by 11 experts by calculating the content validity index. Findings showed that the Psychopathological Self-Maximizing construct has 3 axes and 14 symptoms. The first part of the desire-oriented components (insatiability of desires, desire to be more than enough for oneself, intense interest in collecting and maintaining wealth), the second part of emotion-oriented components (suffering from not achieving desires, dissatisfaction, longing for life, grief) , Lack of comfort, humiliation in front of others due to requests) and the third part are the components of behavior-oriented (self-hardening in life, excessive excuse for not giving, not paying divine rights, acquiring and keeping property through wrongdoing, not being able to reject their demands). The results of the syndrome of this construct have provided a suitable background for diagnosis, scale design and formulation of therapeutic interventions of this structure.

Aim: One of the most important aspects of human health is spiritual health, which has a great impact on other dimensions. Due to the need to provide a comprehensive definition of spiritual health and determine its components and measure it in accordance with the culture and religion of Iranian society, the present study was conducted with the aim of developing a conceptual model and tool for measuring spiritual health based on Islamic texts. Methodology: The present study was conducted by a combined method of exploratory type (qualitative, quantitative). In the qualitative stage, by the method of qualitative content analysis with inductive categorization system, unknown variables and components of spiritual health were discovered and the conceptual model of spiritual health was drawn. To validate the data, the method of external audits or approval of relevant experts was used. Then, the tool for measuring spiritual health was developed in the form of a questionnaire with Likert scale in 70 items. In the quantitative stage, in the questionnaire validation process, content validity indicators were used to test the validity of the questionnaire, and test-retest methods and internal consistency were used to assess its reliability. Results: In the qualitative stage, the components of spiritual health were classified into three main categories: Theology, Cognition of guide, and Eschatology. The theology components included the 6 concepts: monotheistic attitude, certainty, sincerity, detachment, trust in God, and remembrance of God. Components of cognition of guide included the two main categories: matching manner with the Holy Qur'an (theoretical model), and matching manner with the prophets and the fourteen infallibles (practical model). The first category includes the two concepts of familiarity with the Qur'an and practice of the Qur'an; And the second category includes 22 concepts: submission and satisfaction, patience, fulfillment of obligations, abandonment of prohibitions, thanksgiving, contentment, material pleasure, spiritual pleasure, faithful to the covenant, truthfulness, trustworthiness, good-temperedness, generosity, manliness, assistance, forgiveness, justice, courage, Jealousy, forbearance, modesty and halal Livelihood. The last component of spiritual health is eschatology, which includes the three concepts: resurrection-believing, remembrance of death and asceticism. Finally, the tool for measuring spiritual health was designed based on a conceptual model. In the quantitative stage, a total of 70 items were identified by experts as necessary, relevant, simple and clear, and the validity of the content was confirmed by experts. Cronbach's alpha coefficients showed internal consistency in all constructs and sub-constructs of the questionnaire and the test-retest results in all components confirmed the reliability of the questionnaire. Conclusion: In the present study, with a comprehensive view of a perfect human being with the monotheistic identity mentioned in Islamic texts, the components of spiritual health are extracted and its conceptual model is designed, and its measurement tools have been developed and validated, which is in line with previous studies in this field.

The main purpose of this research was to predict the mental health of school students based on life skills. For this purpose, 800 students in the city of Semnan were selected by stratified random sampling method. Then, Life Skills and Mental Health (including 28 items) questionnaires were administered on them. The results indicated that there is a significant negative relationship between the awareness of life skills and mental health. Also the results of stepwise regression analysis showed that in the first step the variable of emotions control entered into the regression equation and explained 26 percent of mental health variance. Thereupon, coping with stress, self-awareness, decision and empathy skills, respectively proved a significant role in the prediction of mental health. Generally, these variables predicted 37 percent of mental health changes. Results indicate the important role of life skills in preventing disorders and offer practical implications for the authorities in charge and policy makers in education

Narcotic Anonymous’ is a global organization with millions of members that has helped countless addicts in avoiding drugs through a spiritual recovery program. The present research aims to study the role of spirituality dimensions (meaning in life, the effect of relationship with God, spiritual development and activity, transcendent mystical experiences, spiritual negative experience, social-religious activities) in predicting the coping styles (task-oriented, avoidance-oriented, emotional-oriented) among the members of the Narcotic Anonymous. In this correlational study, 96 male members of the NA in the city of Shahrood (20-40 years old with at least 6 mounts of withdrawal) were selected as the research sample. The spirituality experience and coping style questionnaires were carried out. The data were analyzed using simultaneous regression analysis. The results showed that spirituality dimensions significantly predicted the task-oriented and avoidance- oriented coping styles. From among spirituality subscales, the effect of relationship with God and transcendent spiritual experiences accounted for 33% of the variance of task-oriented and 20% of the variance of avoidance-oriented coping styles. It seems that spirituality enhancement among the members of the Narcotic Anonymous may develop the coping styles by which individuals could avoid using opiates.

Theory of mind is the ability to attribute mental states beliefs, intents, desires, pretending, knowledge, etc. to oneself and others and to understand that others have beliefs, desires, and intentions that are different from one's own. The present study examined the relationship between the capacity of theory of mind and some cognitive functions of patients with obsessive- compulsive disorder. From among patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder referring to psychiatric and psychological treatment centers in Ardabil, 20 subjects were selected randomly and matched 20 normal people. The data were collected using tasks related to theory of mind, including first and second false belief tasks, and advanced test of theory of mind. Wisconsin Card Sorting Test and Associative Learning Test were also used for data collection. To analyze the data, two independent T tests and Pearson’s correlation coefficient were used. The performance of patients with obsessive- compulsive disorder in all task related to theory of mind was poorer than that of the normal group; however, the differences were significant only in the advanced test of theory of mind. Moreover, there was a significant relationship between the results of the advanced task of theory of mind and associated learning test results. While there was no significant relationship between the results of Wisconsin Card Test and the advanced test of theory of mind. Based on the findings, the basic capacities of theory of mind for patient with obsessive- compulsive disorder were generally maintained Patients; while, there was a significant decrease in the capacities of the advanced test of theory of mind. The decrease seems to be related to a reduction in the memory capacity of these patients. The possible links between memory and impaired theory of mind show the clinical importance of theory of mind deficits in treating patients with obsessive- compulsive disorder.
