Academic selfñ regulation was one of the fundamental issues in Pedagogical and Educational system and it seemed that it had a relation to meta-cognition. This important educational issue has been studied from both theoretical and applied perspectives. The aim of this study was to determine the role of cognitive elements in academic self- regulation. In this correlation, three hundred and eighteen boys of second degree of high school in the 6th educational borough of Tehran by cluster sampling method were chosen. They were asked to fill in the following questionnaires: Wells & Cartwright ñ Hatton metacognitive beliefs questionnaire (2004), O'nell & Abedi metacognitive State questionnaire (1996) and Ryan & Conell academic Self-Regulation questionnaire (1989). Multiple regression analysis and Pearsons correlation coefficiency were applied on the data. Statistical analyses presented a positive correlation between metacognitive state and academic self- regulation. On the other hand, there was a negative association between meta-cognitive believes and academic self- regulation. Furthermore, analyses showed that %26 variance of academic self- regulation can be predicted by three metacognitive components: planning, uncontrollability and the need to control. Based on the finding of this study, metacognitive beliefs and metacognitive state are both associated with academic self- regulation, but in a different way. Thus, acquiring para- cognitive elements can be influential in improving the academic self- regulation of students. None the less, it is required that the findings of this research be considered when the selection and setting of the educational context are done.

The purpose of this study was to design a model of professional competencies of divorce counselors in crisis intervention centers in Semnan province. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach and with a data-based method (grounded theory) based on interviews with divorce counseling specialists and applicants for consensual divorce following an understanding of their lived experience. For this purpose, by purposeful sampling method, semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with 6 experts in the field of divorce counseling and 8 couples seeking divorce after participating in divorce counseling sessions. After coding and analyzing the data of expert interviews, 8 main themes and 52 sub-themes were identified. Themes include general competencies, appearance, communication, professional ethics, personality, competencies related to guidance techniques, motivational interventions, and specialized competencies in marital counseling and divorce. From the interviews with divorce applicants, 6 main themes (41 sub-themes) were extracted, such as physical, communication, moral, personality competencies, competencies related to guidance techniques, and specialized competencies in marital and divorce counseling. Finally, the model of professional competence of divorce counselors was developed with the axes of pre-counseling necessities, skills training, couple counseling skills, continuity of on-the-job training experiences and continuous evaluation of professional competence. According to the research findings and considering that recently the judiciary is recruiting and granting employment licenses to divorce counselors to refer divorce cases to them, it is suggested to use this model in order to attract and train specialized staff.

The study population consisted of married women with a history of complex childhood trauma and distressing marital relationships in Shahrekord in 1400. sampling was done by call and voluntarily. After reviewing the inclusion criteria, finally, six people were selected and randomly assigned to ISTDP and EFT treatments. After implementation, the approaches were compared. Research data were analyzed by a single case method. The results of visual analysis between the intervention and baseline positions including PND, mean and mean changes, relative and absolute level changes, showed the effectiveness of both treatments on marital adjustment. Mean and average changes for ISTDP and EFT therapies indicated the effectiveness of both approaches on increasing marital adjustment in the middle and end of treatment sessions. Relative level changes for both treatments also indicated an increase in marital adjustment in the early stages of treatment. Results for absolute changes for ISTDP and EFT therapies indicated that both treatments were able to lead to immediate changes in marital adjustment scores. The percentage of overlapping for both treatments indicated the high effectiveness of these two treatments for marital adjustment. Considering the values obtained from the average changes, mean, level changes, and percentage index of overlapping data, the results show that EFT treatment was more effective than ISTDP treatment in increasing marital adjustment.
