The present research is aimed at comparison between the effect of music therapy based on Iranian music and cognitive therapy on anger control in adolescent boys. In this study with pre-test/post-test experimental design, a school in district two of RobatKarim City is selected via convenience sampling. Using the Spielberger’s STAX-2 anger expression questionnaire, 30 students are selected and randomly assigned to three groups. The first group received eight sessions of non-active music therapy and the second one underwent cognitive therapy for the same period of time. No intervention was made to the control group. TheANCOVAand Scheffe Posthoc test are applied to analyze the data. The ANCOVA indicates significant difference in the three studied groups. The Posthoc Scheffe test shows no significant difference between the control group and the one receiving music therapy; however, a significant difference is observed between the control group and the cognitive therapy one, as well as between the cognitive and the music therapy groups(P<0/01). Non-active music therapy had no effect on increasing the level of anger control. On the contrary, cognitive therapy enhanced the anger control in the subjects.

The aim of the present study was to investigate transdiagnostic role of repetitive negative thoughts, emotional dysregulation, intolerance of uncertainty, cognitive fusion and distress intolerance in depression and anxiety disorders. This study was causal-comparative. 149 patients with depression and anxiety disorders (included 37 patients with Major Depressive Disorder, 35 patients with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, 40 patients with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, 37 patients with Social Anxiety Disorder) selected by convenience sampling from eight psychiatric and psychological centers in Tehran. Then they compared with normal group (N=40) through Repetitive Negative Thoughts Questionnaire (RNTQ), Cognitive Fusion Questionnaire (CFQ), Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS), Intolerance Uncertainty Scale (IUS) and Distress Tolerance Scale (DTS). Data was analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), ANOVA and Bonferroni tests. The results showed that participants in clinical groups weren’t together significant differences of repetitive negative thoughts, cognitive fusion and intolerance distress, but with normal groups were different. In addition, despite the fact that scores of intolerance of uncertainty in group of major depressive disorder was higher than normal group, but lower than anxiety disorders groups. In connection with the emotional dysregulation, results showed that only participants of group of major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder were not different. Repetitive negative thoughts, cognitive fusion and intolerance distress are common transdiagnostic processes and play important role in development and maintenance in different depression and anxiety disorders.

Forgiveness brings mental, social, mental and physical benefits to the elderly, and also reduces anxiety, depression, mental illness, heart disease, and blood pressure. The purpose of this study was to explain the forgiveness of the elderly through gratitude, happiness and acceptance with the mediating role of self-empowerment. The research method was descriptive correlations and structural equations. The statistical population of the study consisted of all the elderly members of the municipality centers of Tehran municipality in 1396, of which 950 were selected by cluster sampling. Data was collected by Fordes Happiness Questionnaire, the unconditional acceptance of James and colleagues, Megaculov's appreciation, the psychological power of Ego Strom and colleagues, and the forgiveness of Ehshamzadeh et al. Then, using Pearson correlation and structural equation, the results were analyzed. The results of Pearson correlation test showed that the dependent variable of the research, forgiveness with all the variables of research has a significant relationship (p <0.05). For all these positive relationships, this means that increasing each of the independent variables (appreciation, acceptance, happiness and self-empowerment) leads to an increase in forgiveness. The study of intensity of correlations shows that the strongest relationship with forgiveness is related to their ability and happiness, respectively. By enlisting the elderly of his abilities and strengthening the sense of appreciation, happiness and acceptance in him, one can raise the positive attitude of the elderly towards himself and the surrounding world, the amount of forgiveness and mental health of them.

The study population consisted of all couples living in the city of Qom in May 1397. 165 people were selected by the Convenience method as a sample group and responded to Inrich's Marital Satisfaction Inventory (1989), the affective empathy scale of Mehrabian and Epstein (1972), and the Grigorenko and Sternberg intelligence scale (2002). The results showed that successful intelligence has a positive and significant relationship with marital satisfaction.Among the dimensions of successful intelligence, only practical intelligence has a positive and significant relationship with marital satisfaction.Regression analysis also showed that successful intelligence has the ability to predict marital satisfaction. But emotional empathy did not show a significant relationship with marital satisfaction. Also, examining the mediating role of age, the findings showed that age does not moderate the relationship between successful intelligence and marital satisfaction. According to the findings of the research, it is suggested that in order to increase the marital satisfaction of couples, in education, emphasis should be placed on the beliefs of the components of successful intelligence that increase the satisfaction of the marital life.

Psychoactive substances use is a growing challenge in the elderly. The purpose of this research is to investigate and summarize the most basic issues related to epidemiology, screening and treatment interventions for substance use disorders in the elderly. In this research, the literature review method was used. Results showed alcohol, tobacco, opioids and prescription drugs are the most common psychoactive substances used by the elderly. The elderly are prone to the use of substances often because of age-related burdens such as physical complaints and pain, retirement, financial losses, changes of the living situation, or social losses. At present, screening tools for the elderly are limited to alcohol. Due to the similarity of substance use syndrome with depression, delirium or dementia syndrome in the elderly, screening and assessment of comorbidities are of particular importance. The research literature related to the effectiveness and efficiency of treatment interventions for substance use disorders in the elderly is low and needs further research. The results of this study showed that therapeutic interventions for the elderly with substance use disorders should be adapted for them and that the identification and management of substance use disorders should be considered as part of the initial assessment of the elderly.

Abstract Documents which are set for the fundamental transformation of the education system in Iran discuss only three counseling models, including educational, vocational and agreement types; and they neglect guidance models generally, let alone indigenous ones, in particular. Applying three proposed models do not lead into achieving all the objectives of the documents and there is a serious need to models appropriate for reaching all the documents goals and perspectives. Furthermore, while only guidance makes prevention possible, it needs executive models, proper structure and organization and duty description for all the school personnel. This article is a response to required guidance models for the fundamental transformation of the education system, and is the result of two previous researches done under the title of “guidance content analysis in Quran” and “qualitative theme analysis of triple documents”. Through six innovative models which are introduced here, ten previous common models are criticized and their differences and commonalities are revealed. Three of the ten are among consultant models which should be applied only by the consultant of the school; the rest overlap six innovative models, encompassing "Knowledge, Faith and Good Practice", "Insight", "Access to the Hidden Truth", "Justification", "Judgment" and "Spiritual Guidance", altogether, in spite of some differences. By the six proposed models, students might enjoy school attendance and reach their full potential. Keywords: Model, Guidance, Quran, Basics of the Documents for Transformation in Education System

Different studies used the construct of frequency of conflict and the extent of conflict issues interchangeably, and there was no distinction between them. While with the development of theoretical models, these constructs became different from each other. However, unlike the construction of frequency of conflict, which had an instrument to measure it, so far no model of assessment has been proposed to measure the construct of the extent of conflict dominations; Therefore, the present study aimed to measure the construction of the extent of conflict dominations and evaluate its role in parent-adolescent relationships. The present study is descriptive and structural equation modeling, and the research sample consisted of 704 adolescents studying in schools in Tehran. To measure the construction of the extent of conflict issues, the definition of the model "process of adolescent perception of conflict with parents" was used, and based on this model, a new scoring was proposed for the revised checklist of parent-adolescent conflict issues, and then this model was tested. The results of exploratory factor analysis identified two factors, and confirmatory factor analysis also approved one-factor and two-factor models for measuring this construction. The results of structural equation modeling also confirmed the effect of this construction on adolescent dissatisfaction with mother and father in the form of a structural model. As a result, researchers can use the proposed measurement model of the present study to measure the extent of conflict issues as a separate construct from the frequency of conflict.

The statistical population of the research was made up of all the mothers of children with learning disabilities who referred to the Clinic of Education in Mallard city in the academic year of 2020-2021. 45 people were randomly assigned to two experimental groups and one control group using available sampling method. The research tools were Connor and Davidson's resilience questionnaire (2003) and Dragotis et al.'s (1963) SCL-25 test. The results of the Bonferroni test showed that the difference between emotion-oriented therapy and self-compassion training is significant in the variables of resilience and psychological-physical vulnerability of mothers; This means that emotion-oriented therapy is more effective than teaching self-compassion on resilience and psycho-physical vulnerability. According to the obtained results, both approaches, especially emotion-oriented therapy, can be used to improve resilience and psychological-physical vulnerability of mothers with children with learning disabilities, and consequently increase their quality of life.
